We exist because the country needs young people who can think critically, write and speak with precision and fairness, understand how institutions work, and contribute to national improvement with maturity and discipline.
"Safak" is a Turkish word meaning New Dawn — describing exactly what becomes possible when young people engage seriously with the world around them.
We offer pathways for youth to publish their perspectives, develop civic competence through structured learning, participate in serious public dialogue, and grow into responsible leaders.

What is Safak Voice?
Pakistan's open content platform for youth expression. We invite young people from across the country — from universities, cities, and every walk of life — to record and share their voices in the format that feels most natural to them.
There are no restrictions on topic, perspective, or background. If you are young, thoughtful, and care about Pakistan's future — you belong on Safak Voice. Our internal team handles the rest: editing, directing, publishing, and amplifying your message to the widest possible audience.

Muhammad Zain Sardar
Muhammad Zain Sardar is a strategic thinker and civic builder whose conviction in Pakistan's youth drove the founding of Safak in 2026. He believes that the country's most urgent need is not another voice — but a platform that holds voices to a higher standard. His vision for Safak is one of long-term institutional impact: building the habits, skills, and civic culture that Pakistan's next generation of leaders will carry forward for decades.
Muhammad Naeem Aziz
Muhammad Naeem Aziz brings intellectual depth and principled commitment to everything Safak does. A motivated thinker and builder, he has shaped Safak's philosophical foundation — its emphasis on truth, fairness, independence, and long-term civic contribution. He believes that the greatest service Safak can offer is not inspiration, but formation: the serious, sustained development of young people who are genuinely ready to serve the country.
Together, Zain and Naeem founded Safak Pakistan in 2026 with one shared conviction: that Pakistan's youth do not lack potential — they lack a serious platform to develop it. Everything Safak builds is an answer to that gap.

Muhammad Zain Sardar
The conviction behind Safak. Zain co-founded the platform in 2026 with one belief: that Pakistan's youth don't lack potential — they lack a serious stage. He builds for permanence, not applause.
Muhammad Naeem Aziz
The philosophical backbone of Safak. Naeem shaped the values, editorial standards, and intellectual character that define everything the platform publishes and teaches. He builds with depth, not speed.

Among the first to join the founding team. Naeem built our digital presence from nothing — because he believed the mission mattered enough to show up before there were any guarantees.

The Name
What the name means.
Şafak is a Turkish word meaning new dawn — the light that breaks at the beginning of a new day, before the sun has fully risen. It is a moment of promise and clarity.
We chose this name deliberately. The work of improving a country is not dramatic or sudden. It is slow, patient, and begins long before results are visible — like dawn before daylight. Safak Pakistan is that beginning.

Essays & Long-Form Analysis
800–2,500 words. A clear argument, evidence, and a considered conclusion. Our most common format.
Video Opinions
3–7 minutes. A concise, well-argued video take on a current issue. Must meet basic production and content standards for clarity and credibility.
Policy Takes
400–900 words on a specific policy question or decision. Direct and evidence-based. Ideal for responding to current events or developments.
Explainers
Clear, accessible explanations of complex systems, processes, or issues for a general audience.
Editorial Standards
- Arguments must be based on verifiable facts and cited sources.
- All claims should be clearly distinguished from opinions.
- Opposing viewpoints must be represented fairly.
- Personal attacks, inflammatory language, or hate speech are grounds for rejection.
- Content must be original and not published elsewhere.
- Partisan political messaging or party propaganda is not accepted.
- Writing must meet basic standards of clarity and structure.

These aren't volunteer slots or internships. We are looking for five founding team members — people who will own real functions, make real decisions, and build a lasting institution with us. If you want to shape something from day one, read on.
These are founding positions. Compensation is performance-linked and grows with the organisation — not a fixed salary at launch. In return, you get direct access to the founders, genuine ownership of your domain, and the chance to build something real in Pakistan.

Phase Coordinator
The operational backbone of Phase One. You keep every moving part aligned — deadlines met, communication flowing, and the team's collective energy pointed in one direction.
- Maintain team coordination and keep the workflow on schedule
- Facilitate weekly check-ins and progress reviews

- Spot bottlenecks early and resolve them before they stall progress

Editor
Great editors don't just fix mistakes — they make good ideas shine. You take raw contributions and shape them into content that actually lands, without ever erasing the writer's authentic voice.
- Edit written articles for structure, clarity, and real impact

- Ensure every piece aligns with Safak's editorial standards
- Collaborate closely with the Director on overall content direction

AI & Tools Specialist
You don't just use AI — you think with it. This role keeps Safak at the cutting edge of content production, deploying the best tools strategically to sharpen quality and accelerate output.
- Operate AI tools for content generation, editing, and enhancement
- Handle automated captioning, transcription, and translations
- Support thumbnail, graphic, and visual asset creation using AI
- Research and implement new tools that improve team efficiency
- Train team members on effective AI tool usage
Content Director
The creative and editorial authority. You shape Safak Voice's direction — what gets published, how it's presented, and how each piece contributes to the broader narrative.
- Review and approve all content before publication
- Set the editorial tone, themes, and content calendar
- Give actionable feedback to contributors on every submission
- Maintain consistent quality aligned with Safak's mission
- Continuously evolve the content strategy as we grow
Outreach Lead
The bridge between Safak and Pakistan's youth. You find contributors, build relationships, and ensure a steady pipeline of serious voices joining the platform.

Founding Members

Submit your application via WhatsApp with a motivation statement and relevant experience. No CVs required — we want thinking, not credentials.
Review
Founders personally review every application within 5–7 days. We look for clarity of thought, evidence of capability, and alignment with Safak's mission.
Interview
A 45-minute direct conversation with the founders — no HR screen, no panel. We want to understand how you think, not how well you perform in a formal setting.
Offer
If you're the right person, we move fast. You'll receive a founding member offer within 48 hours of the final interview. We don't wait, and we don't leave people hanging.
